Thomas Fea BSc (Hons) MA
Psychodynamic Psychotherapist
Thomas began his career in health and social care as a youth worker in Islington Council's Play and Youth Service and at The Metro Centre, Greenwich, working with LGBT young people impacted by HIV/AIDS.
Pursuing his interest in adult mental health, Thomas worked for Islington Mind for many years in a variety of roles, finally managing a busy mental health drop in centre and as a member of the senior management team.
In 2008 Thomas began a combined clinical training and Masters degree at the Tavistock and Portman NHS Trust in Intercultural Psychodynamic Psychotherapy.
After qualifying, Thomas set up in private practice, and began working for the NHS in City and Hackney, first in Primary Care and then in a specialist personality disorder team. He now works for the East London NHS Foundation Trust in Newham's as an adult psychodynamic psychotherapist.
Thomas is a former Deputy Chair of the Tavistock Society of Psychotherapists.He is a former member of the British Psychoanalytic Council's Sexualities Working Party.
